Honda heroes

For the eighth successive year, Honda North America has honored Freudenberg Filtration Technologies with their prestigious Supplier Performance Award. This is presented in recognition of consistently outstanding service and is very rare. To win it, suppliers effectively need a 100% quality, cost and delivery record.

The extremely high standards required by Honda are the reason why this award is so rarely presented. Honda North America has a network of over 1,200 suppliers. To date, they have only recognized 30 of them in this way. So to be honored the eighth year in a row is something to truly celebrate and be proud of, as Dave Lester, North American Regional Director of Freudenberg Filtration Technologies, acknowledged: “This is the most prestigious award that a supplier can receive from Honda, and to be honored eight years in a row is a reflection of the focus and commitment of every department at Freudenberg Filtration Technologies.”

 Like all other similar events, the Honda Supplier Conference at which the award ceremony is usually held was cancelled this year. Nevertheless, although we missed the party and the social contact that makes the event so special, it was still a fantastic result and sends an important message, as Dave Lester explained: “We take tremendous pride in our long-term relationship with Honda and are dedicated to supporting our customers through these challenging times in the best way possible. To us, the award mirrors our continued focus on high-quality products and performance.”  

We all look forward to building on this continued success in the future and hopefully celebrating a similar result next year.
